It’s been a hot week.
Today through Friday should be a tad bit cooler.
But then the temperature creeps up again — to the mid-90s, by Monday and Tuesday.
Many of us spend much of the day inside. If we’re outside — to swim, hang at the beach, walk, bike, garden, whatever — we take care not to overdo it. We drink plenty of water.
We duck back inside when we can.
Some people don’t have those options.
They mow our lawns. They put new roofs on our homes. They pave our roads. They deliver our mail and packages.
They make our lives easier — though theirs are hard.
If you’re someone who sweats through summer, so that we don’t have to: Thank you.
