I am a lifelong Westporter, and a graduate of Brown University. A fulltime freelance writer, my work has appeared in the New York Times, USA Today and Sports Illustrated.
I am the author of 18 books, and an award-winning columnist. Oh yeah, I’m a blogger too. I have published “06880” since 2009 – and never missed a day.
In my spare time I am an advocate for LGBTQ issues, particularly youth and sports. I spent 20 years as the Staples High School boys varsity soccer coach (and co-founded the Westport Soccer Association).
You can hire me for a writing project (such as blogging, private instruction, tutoring, or corporate work large or small). You can also hire me for speaking engagements (for more details, click the “Hire Dan Woog” link in the sidebar to the right).
