Thank you for capturing this beautiful shot of the dunes. Michele Sorensen and The Friends of Sherwood Island State Park Garden Team have lovingly planted and continue to maintain them for over 11 years. Join us.
Picturesque example of what local volunteers can do to give back to a Westport gem, Sherwood Island; helping us all enjoy and benefit from Mother Nature.
John, thank you for this sunset-glowing photo. The Friends’ Garden Team that I lead welcomes volunteers. We enjoy planting and caring for dunes, native trees, shrubs and perennials throughout the East Beach. We meet Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons from April through November. Those who sign up soon are invited to winter learning sessions at my garden home. – Michele
