Maybe Reason Will Prevail

Earlier today, I posted that Age of Reason is empty, and no one answered their phone.

But alert “06880” reader Svea Vocke writes:

I was in there this week and they said they’re simply moving a couple doors down. They should reopen at the end of May or so – switching places with the bridal shop! They needed a little less space, and the bridal shop needed a little more.

That’s great news!

Perhaps they could add that info to the sign out front, and put it on their telephone answering machine…

    There’s no “maybe” about it.

Maybe reason will prevail? Yes, hopefully among French voters.

      Ah, let’s hope!

Side note: I found it interesting to learn that the French vote occurs on a Sunday.

Amazing that in the U.S., we vote on a weekday/workday. Hmmmm.

      😉

      • Almost the entire world votes on Sundays. We are continuing our 17th-century tradition (although now many states do have early voting — Connecticut, are you listening?).

It is interesting that a largely Catholic country would also vote on a Sunday.
… I’m just thinking about a box of macarons now, and hoping for the best!

Reminded me of how sad we were when Carousel toy store closed. Glad this story has a happier ending.
