One more Westport institution has opened its doors to the afflicted.
Well, this one usually does, but today more than ever everyone is welcome at Christ & Holy Trinity Church‘s Branson Hall. That’s the handsome building downtown, a few feet from the YMCA at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Church Lane.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, charging stations are available. Wi-Fi is on.
And there’s coffee in the kitchen.

Our granddaughter attends the YMCA pre-school program. In light of the 20 ft. of water that the basement of the Y held during the storm, it seems that the pre-school will have to find alternate quarters to continue the program. With the new Y under construction, I doubt that they will put too much money into renovating and repairing the old Y basement. What are they going to do????
