My mailbox looks nearly the same, except that I’m using the snow “plowage” to prop it up – it was a casualty of the Christmas blizzard.
I am certain I speak for my neighbors when I say that our mailman — Joe Pellicano — has never been deterred by snow banks. He is the epitome of the inscription on the main post office in NYC: “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”
Did you tip your postperson at Christmas time??
