There will be no decision on athletic field lights tonight.
The Planning & Zoning Commission — which was scheduled to discuss a proposal for both Wakeman and PJ Romano Fields — canceled its public hearing. Not all members were able to attend.
The next meeting is scheduled for October 19.
That frees up commissioners and interested residents to attend tonight’s Westport Country Playhouse Script in Hand reading of “Portrait of a Woman in Repose.”
Earlier today, it was announced that Tom Hanks will join Wendie Malick and Tony Shalhoub at the event. It’s a milestone: the 100th show in the series.
Unfortunately for the P&Z, and anyone else thinking of attending: It’s already sold out.
