I want to buy that car! Name the price!
If I can’t afford it, I’ll borrow the money from Richard Fogel at 18% Interest! I’ll even sell my Trump Bible to raise the money!
it’s a great picture. The car is beautiful. I have stopped several times to take it in
Cadillacs of a certain age must be photographed from the side so we can see the fins!
That’s a bit of camera perspective making the car look that wide. But it really was quite wide and I was there to see it in its early years. I like that grill. I don’t think this model, the Eldorado, had the silly fins which came later.
Unfortunately, the 1963 Eldorado “had the silly fins.” However, they were somewhat truncated from the 1959 Cadillacs on which the most exaggerated version of fins first appeared, kicking off years of design influence.
Beautiful photo, beautiful car. The blues of the sky, water and car complement each other so well.
How many miles a gallon is what this spoilsport is wondering!
I don’t know, but back then gas was 30 cents a gallon.
(That works out to $2.84/gallon in today’s dollars, so don’t go crazy.)
