Scene At The Beach

With just over 7 hours to go before the June 29th fireworks, Compo Beach is jam-packed with beach chairs, picnic tables and tents (and very few people manning or womanning them).

But that’s not what this post is about.

Here are a few photos to show what else is happening, down at the shore.

Around noon today, they announced over the loudspeaker at Compo that all tents had to come down by 5 pm.

The two bulldogs are Mike and Sully. They are sweet hearts.

Back in the 60’s, 70’s even the 80’s it was come, put down a blanket at 7 if you’re having a picnic dinner or 8 for the fireworks at 9. Plenty of room for another blanket. South Beach a bit more crowded with families grilling etc but nothing like this crazy chaos! Sorry! Time traveler
