With just over 7 hours to go before the June 29th fireworks, Compo Beach is jam-packed with beach chairs, picnic tables and tents (and very few people manning or womanning them).
But that’s not what this post is about.

Around noon today, they announced over the loudspeaker at Compo that all tents had to come down by 5 pm.
The two bulldogs are Mike and Sully. They are sweet hearts.

Back in the 60’s, 70’s even the 80’s it was come, put down a blanket at 7 if you’re having a picnic dinner or 8 for the fireworks at 9. Plenty of room for another blanket. South Beach a bit more crowded with families grilling etc but nothing like this crazy chaos! Sorry! Time traveler
