As kids, I remember flattening pennies on the tracks. And worse ;^)
On the branch going from New Canaan to Stamford, the engineer held the train while my friend and I put pennies on the track.
One of my classmates at school was Walter Maddock. Any relation? 1940s
I remember crossing that bridge many times as a kid! Going to get candy at the store on the corner.. can’t remember name! Bears?
