    The Yellow-Crowned Night Herons are beautiful birds! They’re not rare this time of year. I see them in Gray’s Creek, by Longshore, every summer.

    Yellow crowned night herons are not that unusual in CT.. Mostly we see black crowned, but the yellow guys are here as well.
