This is a remarkable photo the more I look at it. There’s a lot of depth when seen enlarged and the color is very subtle – happily not “enhanced.” There’s a surprising amount of simple symmetry here – the different foliage shapes and lines and then distant reflections.

Good Duck hunting in the day… late 40’s early 50″s
If I am not mistaken, a different house stood there back in the 60’s. It was the Pettygrove residence. Can’t find any pictures of it before it was renovated. Anyone else remember this?
