“Then & Now”: #30

Week #30 of our series brings 4 more examples of a variety of architectural styles that have met the wrecking ball — and the style that supplants them.

“Then & Now” curator and pre-demolition archivist Dave Matlow provides these images. They’re part of a project he worked on from 2004 to 2020.

A reminder: This is a community blog. Our neighbors live here. Some built those new structures; others are the second (or beyond) owners.

  1. more restrained and tasteful “improvements” than in most week’s then & now. how much did the new owners on Wake Robin pay for the snow removal and improved weather?

I recognize the Valley Road home having grown up just down the street from it. The new build is a nice fit for the space, well done.
