nice photos of churches. I have worshipped in one of these churches, a very long time ago. Thank you.
Merry Christmas to you Dan! Thanks for keeping me feeling connected! Best to you in the New Year!
I have fond memories of Saugatuck Congregational Church. Its nursery school was the first I visited when my husband and I moved to Westport in 1971 with daughters ages 3, 5, 7. I enrolled the youngest there; the nursery school director, Nancy Marr, invited the 5 year old to join her younger sister there in the afternoon because kindergarten was only 1/2 day and I had to work. The church provided a home away from home when my oldest daughter needed a place to live and finish high school away from the family. Many years later the church opened its doors for the funeral of my first husband, Marty, although we were not members. And now one of the ministers is an active member of TEAM Westport, a town committee that promotes diversity and inclusiveness. Thank you Saugatuck Congregational; you are a truly Christian church.
