Alert “06880” photographer Betsy Kahn captured these beautiful colors (and a stray dog) this morning at Schlaet’s Point, near Compo Beach.
With hints of spring in the air, it’s great to know that Daylight Savings Time starts this Sunday.
The only downside is that gorgeous sunrises like this will happen one hour later.
Beautiful, beautiful shots…but me, I’m thinking, “I hope that doggie finds his way home… ;-(…”
Hey Susan, Thank you! That’s Fiona, she is my assistant and longtime Artistic Companion… Every year (I wait!!) for the Winter Sun, which is so blood orange and pink.
This is across from the Bedusa’s home on the corner where Hillspoint meets Soundview Drive.
That gorgeous dog Fiona is the inspiration for Fiona’s Disappearing Island?
Beautiful images! For a split second I thought I was looking at pictures of the aurora borealis that I’d tried to get a glimpse of last night. Apparently, if the skies are clear this week, viewing is supposed to be quite good in our area. I’m wondering, did anyone see the northern lights last night?
