…also timeless.
These photos — by 2 of my favorite Westport photographers — are definitely worth sharing.
What a great way to start the Memorial Day weekend!

A big thunderstorm blew in late yesterday. It left just as quickly, leaving this serene Mill Pond scene in its wake. (Photo/Betsy P. Kahn)

The storm chased crowds from Compo Beach. Betsy P. Kahn captured this image.

Meanwhile, the Bartaco crowd was treated to this rainbow over downtown — and its reflection in the river. (Photo/Katherine Hooper)

Today, skies were clear. And the Compo cannons stand ready for another summer of beachgoers. (Photo/Katherine Hooper)

Thank you for sharing. I keep falling in love with Westport. These photos just put my feelings into words. Happy holiday weekend.
You know, we take aim at Westport and everything about it sometimes, but if the truth be known, these images remind us that this — along with its rich history, the many opportunities, and (most of) our neighbors, are among the reasons why we should feel blessed to be here.
Well said.
These beautiful photos pull at one’s memories, and it brings a smile to see that some things never change. Enjoy the goodness you have in Westport, and reflect on this Memorial Day,
everyday.
Just tweeted “What was it like to grow up in #WestportCT? On its prettiest days, it was like these 4 photos of my hometown.” Those are beautiful photos you picked, @DanWoog. Thanks, from @DougTweets
Thanks, Dan. Makes me long for my days in Westport.
