Our long local nightmare is over.
Elvira’s reopens at 7 a.m. on Monday. Once again, all will be right with the world.
The damage to the building — a popular grocery store/deli/community center just across from Old Mill — caused by a poorly driving customer has been repaired. The interior has been freshened up. There are new appliances.
Plus several exciting additions to the menu, including paninis and a salad bar.
“It’s been a long 2 months,” owner Niki Boulas acknowledged in an email. But — to reward all their faithful customers, and because they are just such awesome people — Niki and her family are throwing a grand reopening party next Saturday (March 3).
There will be plenty of food, and lots of wine.
But the main attraction? That wide-open front door.
Good Luck! Glad to here you will be back. See you next week.
Hello Niki and everyone at Elvira’s,
Can’t wait to see the new digs!
We miss you guys!
Best of luck with the grand re-opening!
We’ll see you real soon!
🙂
Best news I’ve had all week! Looking forward to the grand reopening.
I live in Compo neighborhood and the past many weeks have been so sad with the Elvira’s picnic tables empty and no familiar faces to wave at. Stacey and family, you have been missed.
Thank you Stacey for knowing everyone’s name, and knowing when the kids come and go. You are a very special family
