Stay Off The Roads!

Officials urged Westporters to stay home, until rain and floods subside.

Firefighters and police officers responded to dozens of calls, as more than 3 inches of rain overwhelmed roads, drains and lawns all over town.

More rain — occasionally heavy — could fall through noon.

  1. Thank you for the photo’s. They will keep people off the roads

  2. I remember the hurricane(s) from the 1950s and I don’t remember scenes like these in Westport. And these scenes aren’t a product of a hurricane; it’s a rain storm.
