In the dog days of summer, last week’s Photo Challenge featured a close-up of a painting with 2 dogs (click here to see).
Appropriately, they decorate the back of the bus shelter in front of Schulhof Animal Hospital.
Steven Engel, Andrew Colabella, Robert Mitchell, Nancy Diamond, Lesley O’Connell, Carmela Kaufman and the semi-appropriately named Cat Malkin all slowed down enough on Post Road West to correctly identify the image.
This week’s Photo Challenge looks almost like a painting. If you know where in Westport Tom Kretsch captured this shot, click “Comments” below.

I agree with Mr. Chait
Gault Barn, South Compo
It has to be the back of the Gault Barn off of Compo Road South. A wonderful, historic barn. (The photo could have been taken from Sleigh Ridge Road.)
Rear elevation of the Gault barn. One of the most interesting buildings in Westport.
Back of the Gault barn on Compo
Definitely the rear of Gault Barn. It’s even more beautiful in person.
The gault barn. I have a print of this in my house!
Back of Gault barn. Beautiful photo of it!
When I comment, I see the prior comments. Do others not see that?
