I wish Parks & Rec who usually do a wonderful job would have told us before the day of the fireworks that Burying Hill Beach is closed for the fireworks. We will have a disappointed granddaughter.
Not everyone is willing/able to navigate the Compo chaos!
You can park at Greens Farms Station and walk over. It doesn’t sound like there will be anyone there to turn you away.

Relax. It’s Westport. You don’t need a compass or a map. You don’t even need to see the stars. Just set your GPS or simply follow the signs.
Just look up at the sky…They can be seen from miles away. Everything will be ok

The colors of the fireworks are Not natural. The colors are made from metals and other substances that may be toxic. Anyone with lung issues should consider avoiding exposure. to fireworks. Google what are the effects of local fireworks on health. Fireworks are an American tradition. They are exciting beautiful but unfortunately potentially dangerous to a minority. Be informed.
