    Bill, When I wrote my comment the clock said 6:30 because I’m on the west coast. You know… three hour difference.

    Okay.. I’m going to be serious and make a bold prediction. If you think about it, clocks sometimes become famous and help identify a place. You’ve got Big Ben in London, the famous clock in Grand Central Station and there’s others. This clock will eventually have a name which will give it a Westport identity. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe ask the Staples students for suggestions as a fun assignment? Maybe get the media involved and get some free publicity?

    If you could put a small bench near the clock, or under it, you’ll start hearing things like,”Hey, I’ll meet you under the clock at 2:30 pm.”
