Awesome picture! Looks like an Edward Hopper painting!
Oh, the stories that old platform could tell. From kissing sons and daughters off to WW2 to welcoming back home to going off to college to welcoming the graduate home to honeymooners off to parents with new babies coming back to visit grandma and grandad! From into the city on your first job out of college to a welcome home newly retired that station platform has just about seen it all! Thanks Dan! I left on that train platform for my first job with Eastern Airlines in fall 1965.
Well said, Charles Taylor 🙂
