Online Art Gallery #285

Hand-painted horseshoe crabs — mounted on a wood frame — are among the intriguing highlights of this week’s online art gallery.

They’re a first for this feature.

But as always: No matter how young (or old) you are; what style or subject you choose — and whether you’re a first-timer or old-timer — we welcome your submissions. Watercolors, oils, charcoal, pen-and-ink, acrylics, mixed media, digital, lithographs, collages, macramé, jewelry, sculpture, decoupage, needlepoint — we want whatever you’ve got.

Please email a JPG to 06880blog@gmail.com. And please include the medium you’re working in — art lovers want to know.

  1. For those of you interested in art, I know a young artist in Florida who does computer art and did a portrait of Obama’s family which will be in Obama’s gallery. The interesting part is he’s been in a wheelchair since age 2 and can only move two fingers and one shoulder! I bought a painting for $1,000 dollars for my 65th birthday and he signed it with a thumb print. http://www.singlehandedstudio.com

  2. My wife did artwork for Major League Baseball, George H.W. Bush, Pope Benedict XVI, PepsiCo and many others. She was a Graphic Artist for 20+ years. I share some of the artwork on 06880 with her.
