    Look at the first picture and see if you see a side view of a face.

  2. This is extremely cold upper atmosphere pushing down on hot, humid air down at lower altitudes. If you look carefully you can see the beginnings of a rotation formation of a big waterspout trying to get down to the water surface. Good thing it was unable to finish that formation, they can do damage like a tornado.
