I like the view at the top with it’s minimally shown, somewhat Japanese looking tree and wall. The bird in the water is also perfectly spaced for this type of photograph.
The middle view of the sailboat is also well spaced but we have to wonder why. Did she sink at her mooring?
In the third view we need to know of something going on.
Ed Perrault is so talented that he could have whittled that out of a solid block of wood! Actually he bought the bare post and of course improved it and then painted it perfectly! Ed also built a wooden kayak from scratch and it is a piece of artwork. He is a true shipwright, an absolute renaissance man and one of the smartest most talented friend and neighbor I know!
I didn’t realize the wall was ALL carved birds. How remarkable!
