Excellent and amazing to see a young person so passionate about civics education! Thoroughly needed in this day and age!

Not too many schools offer as many civics classes anymore other than AP Government & Politics. This is the type of person we need more of, someone who is intellectually curious and not only wants to learn more, but wants to help others learn more! We need more Tucker Eklunds in this world! Keep on going and you will find a way to help many!

  3. Go Tucker Go!!!
Last month, Nichola Raihani — British psychologist and author of The Social Instinct, a book about the history of human cooperation — published a fascinating story on Medium I believe it was called “circles of trust”

Tucker is a truly remarkable young man with whom I had the pleasure of spending time at the polls in November. All the best to him going forward.

I love this article so much (and yes, I’m a bit biased). This is such a great summary of what Tucker is all about. He’s truly passionate about history, government and community. From being “Smokey the Bear” for the fire department and delighting the children of Westport this past fall to recently winning 2nd at the Rotary Speech Competition (he’ll go on to represent Westport for the semi-finals in Rotary this coming weekend). His conversation with you meant a lot to him. I love this community so much!
