Okay, they’re not “new” in the sense that they’ve never created something before. All 4 are accomplished artists. But this is the first time they’ve submitted works to “06880.”

“Mama’s Home.” Artist Sabra Gallo says: “On a family vacation to Costa Rica several years ago, we had a fantastic late night excursion to watch sea turtles come ashore and lay eggs. Truly magnificent creatures, and no photos (or flashlights) were allowed, so they were as undisturbed as possible. I made this mosaic to represent the images I will forever have in my mind’s eye.”
