This week, our online gallery features 4 new artists.
Okay, they’re not “new” in the sense that they’ve never created something before. All 4 are accomplished artists. But this is the first time they’ve submitted works to “06880.”
Come on, everyone else! Join the fun. Watercolors, oils, charcoal, pen-and-ink, acrylics, lithographs, macramé, jewelry, sculpture, decoupage — whatever you’ve got, send it in.
Some of you are professional artists; others are amateurs. Experience does not matter! Email firstname.lastname@example.org, to share your work with the world.
“Mama’s Home.” Artist Sabra Gallo says: “On a family vacation to Costa Rica several years ago, we had a fantastic late night excursion to watch sea turtles come ashore and lay eggs. Truly magnificent creatures, and no photos (or flashlights) were allowed, so they were as undisturbed as possible. I made this mosaic to represent the images I will forever have in my mind’s eye.”
“Finally Shining” (Linda Franco Doyle)
“Color in a Can” (June Rose Whittaker)
Untitled (Rick Redniss)
“Before the Crowds” — 11 x 14 acrylic on canvas board (Martin Howard)
