I won’t go into ocean waters unless the water temperature is 80 degrees. I got spoiled in south Florida.
Water temps are already in the upper 40s. Hypothermia can happen quick. Less boaters out and I believe its off season for Westport Marine Police. Not a bright idea to go swimming out in open water…
He should be wearing a wet suit but there used to be a gang of swimmers at Burying Hill who swam everyday all winter, led by a 90 year old man. At high tide, perfect place for swim.
