I have no experience with drone photography. I notice these photos are taken early in the day before much traffic appears. Is that a requirement for some reason? I see some great pictures of large sailing vessels way off shore which were probably taken with drones, and with permission or by arrangement. Probably sailors in Long Island Sound would not appreciate drones buzzing around them at all.
The first hour or so after sunrise and the last hour before sunset is known as the “golden hour.” When the sun is low in the sky, the light is more diffused and a warmer tone. Tends to make for better photography.
There is no requirement for time of day flying except for nighttime when there are stricter guidelines for distance and altitude. I took these around 11AM on a weekday during the schools’ Feburary break so fewer families were in town and on the roads, that’s most likely why it seems quieter than usual.
These are very good photos – nicely composed.
