No, it’s not a coincidence. The construction company doing work on the Merritt Parkway — and whose equipment is stored at the Exit 41 commuter parking lot — was founded by the grandfather of former Trump campaign chairman and convicted felon Paul Manafort. The company is based in New Britain. (Photo/Dan Woog)
Hmmm. Wonder if that’s enough pipe to drain a swamp
LOL! 🤣
The Manafort construction equipment was very prevalent in downtown Westport during the development of Bedford Square.
I saw the trucks and I was wondering about it. I said to myself ‘nah, that’s just a coincidence’. I guess not!!!
New Britain had a street called “Paul Manafort Drive” which was named for the current newsmaker’s father who was a three-time mayor in that city and one whose terms in office were not without a few corruption scandals of his own. Some in town were embarrassed to have the reference to the Manafort family on a street sign, so since Manafort Sr. was never convicted, the street sign now reads, “Paul Manafort, Sr. Drive.”
I would like to know when they are going to finish! It’s been years of construction and very little progress. Workers show up sporadically at night then disappear for weeks.
Have you gotten Mueller involved?
