Somewhere on that jetty is a Chai Necklace given to me by my father at my Bar Mitzvah in 1969. We went swimming as we did almost everytime we went to Compo. We took off our shirts, shoes and whatever else we had with us and left them on top of a dry rock. Unbeknownst to us it was low tide. An hour later, our stuff was gone! I was so upset because it was from my father and I only had it for a month. I dont think he ever found out.
I really hope one day you may find it..
Tha photo made me smile!
😊
I don’t know why my name got messed up. Also — the first word should be “The.”
But I’m still smiling!
I believe that this is a photo of the large rocks at low tide at Southport
Beach. It is beautiful to see at low or high tide and certainly is an
asset for Fairfield.
No, this photo is of a very special jetty to me and many others…its the jetty at Compo Beach Where Soundview becomes Hillspoint
#fionasdisappearingisland 😊
