So nice and a great photo. When I was a girl the tunnel was all dark, moldy concrete – roof, walls and floor and the ceiling seemed lower. There was no lighting at all. I remember the walls as always wet with condensation. There was a nasty smell of urine. I was always frightened to go through it alone. Somehow I survived the demons.
This tunnel is ripe for an art-installation project–similar to the tunnel on Main Street.
