Pics Of The Day #151
This entry was posted in Environment, Pic of the Day and tagged Wakeman Town Farm. Bookmark the permalink.
Sounds like it was a lovely event!
This is an amazing place. Peter Wormser and Liz Milwe put their heart and soul into this. There were so many people named last night that are part of Wakeman TOWN Farm – this is a perfect example of private and public effort. WTF will be to young people what the Senior Center is to our elderly. A special thanks to RTMer Cathy Talmadge too. These are people who make a difference in our Town. Thank you for such a wonderful evening. Lou Mall
I echo Lew Mall’s comments. The event was beautiful. And we owe such a debt of gratitude to Liz, Peter and all of the other volunteers for bringing the farm to fruition and completing the stunning renovation. It is such a peaceful and gorgeous setting perfect for our town’s young people(and the rest of us) to escape some of the academic stress and go back to a time otherwise lost in this town. Thank you!!
Sorry Lou (not Lew!).
