Apparently the Black Duck parking lot was flooded…But then again it was part of the original river. It was filled to reach a barge stuck on a sandbar..That barge was the foundation of the current Duck barge!
Not so fast!!! Stella seems to have more surprises for the aftermath. Winds are kicking in. Temps already down to 27 and headed into low 20s. Ice, ice from all of Stella’s sleet and rain. Ohhh what fun!
Well, here’s a comment about the pictures! Hi Nicola – that first photo looking out from the brick pavilion is marvelous. I’ve always liked that scene but here you have reflections of the rounded windows in a nice composition along with the rounded puddle itself. And three framed views of waves. All of this in subtle, perfectly balanced color, somewhat reminiscent of Japanese prints.

Agree. A great image. The waves looked impressive as well!
Thank you, Sharon.
