Merry Christmas Dan! Thank you for unwittingly & unknowingly adding a dimension to my life which I had never known existed. Your terrific blog has brought back memories of 60 years in Westport, a very special place to us all, a place I had rarely thought of anymore. Through you I’ve reconnected with old friends and met new; a true gift for today which I value greatly. The package all this arrives in every day is wrapped in the paper & ribbons of your intelligent, curious, compassionate, timely & fair attitude to everyone. Best wishes to you for 2017. Merry Christmas Dan, as others have commented here your blog helps me relive wonderful Westport memories, from when I was an au pair there in the late sixties. The story you wrote about me (10/3 Hanne Jeppesen and Westport’s BIg Chill) has received very positive reviews from my family and friends. Thank you Dan, and all the best for 2017.
Not only old or seasonal memories, but recent memories: the re-opening of the Levitt Pavilion in 2014 when Jose Feliciano entertained us with ‘Feliz Navidad’ in the middle of July.
