LOL!!
Hi Dan, I enjoy your parking posts just as much as any Westporter does;) but wouldn’t some also find value in learning about an eclectic group of people who have been enjoying coming together to play games for nearly a year now at Barnes & Noble too? For one thing Barnes & Noble is one of the few remaining book stores in the area as books & iPads are sadly taken over much of the literary business;( and we hope they remain for the next generation of readers and Staples students;) Also, we have grown in the almost year of my starting it;). It’s something we all look forward to and it’s a great way to meet new friends whether you’re single, married or widowed, young or middle aged or a bit older;), and keep your mind active and learning! Scrabble, like bridge and chess, keeps you engaged and growing! It’s fun, it’s Inclusive and it’s better than sitting at a bar! I think you’d be doing a favor by mentioning the opportunity to your readers☺️ it’s clearly proven some staying power and I think it’s a lovely Westport way of meeting people! Especially with winter approaching and as outdoor activities diminish.
I personally find it more interesting than how people are parking;)😉
I think you will be surprised at the response you’ll get if people read about it, try it and enjoy it!
People could potentially meet a date, a friend, a companion, a math & science tutor, a few finance people, a picture framer, an artist, a CPA or a wonderful Realtor 😊 by coming!! And of corse not the least to mention.., learn some very cool words!! It’s a great way to spend a few hours sipping tea, hot cocoa or coffee at Starbucks cafe (there), and enjoying some camaraderie on a cold winter night! We give each other rides home sometimes too;) (we have forged friendships from simply meeting once a week)
Best regards, from your favorite persistent nudge😜 Susan

Susan, you have asked me several times to publicize your games nights, and I have consistently asked for more information from you. So this will serve as your publicity. Good luck — sounds like a ton of fun.
It might help if we knew when they meet.
HA!
Sounds like what is also happening at the Westport Library.
