Oh My 06880 — Photo Challenge #45

Some of us walk stride through Town Hall, eyes fixed straight ahead, focused on our trip to the tax collector or town clerk’s office or wherever.

Pat Saviano, Jacques Voris, Wally Woods, Bobbie Herman, Kathleen Bennewitz, Grover Fitch and Ann Sheffer stop and smell the roses.

Or, at least, they look around at the fantastic photos, art work and mixed-media collages hanging on the walls, and in display cases, on every floor.

Those 7 very alert “06880” readers quickly identified last week’s photo challenge. It was a sculpture by the late Susan Malloy, using materials she found at houses that became teardowns, all around Westport.

To see the tiny part of one piece that our 7 alert readers easily knew was part of Susan’s work, click here.

There’s wood in this week’s photo challenge too. It’s courtesy of Bettina Calise Cookman. If you think you know where it is, click “Comments” below.

  11. Now that’s just weird. I saw a photo of when Katherine Calise was a little girl a couple of minutes ago on Facebook and now her sister is part of this post. It’s amazing when that happens.
