Oh My 06880 — Photo Challenge #40

The only bear sighting Westporters don’t mind — in fact, we love it — is the one in front of the Exxon station, on the Post Road headed toward Southport.

That was the image Lynn U. Miller captured for last week’s photo challenge. Bryan Schwartz, Dorian Barth and Jennifer Jackson all correctly identified the shot, based on “bearly” enough of the photo. Click here to see.

This week’s challenge takes us in a different direction:

  1. Jacques Voris

The gate in front of the entrance to 9 Main Street

  2. Back entrance to old library building…an edifice remarkably unsuitable for any long-term tenants other than Starbucks (which as we know doesn’t require parking) and HSBC, which has no known depositors.

  3. I’ve never seen wainscoting on the outside of a building, so it is a place with a lot of money.

  4. This is the entrance to the second floor apartments above The Loft on Main Street.

  5. Jacques, Peter and Diane: all correct. The entrance to the apartments at 9 Main Street, near the Post Road. A bit of Westport we often walk right past without noticing – except for you three!
