Oh My 06880 — Photo Challenge #39

They’re pretty big — and hard to miss. But Lynn U. Miller cropped her photo so only a portion of one of them showed. And only 2 alert “06880” readers — Alex Elias and Madison Malin — correctly identified last week’s photo challenge as the enormous planters outside the main entrance of Staples High School.

They’re there for security reasons. Thanks to Geiger’s, they look rather nice. To see that photo, click here.

This week’s image might be Lynn U. Miller’s most clever find. We’ve all seen it — but where is it?

  1. Is it the large animal structure at Earthplace?

  2. Jill Turner Odice

It used to be called the Nature Center when I lived in Westport. I think it is the big bear statue ?

  3. The Bears at Exxon station on post road!

  4. The carved bears in front of the Exxon station on the Post Road near Stop & Shop.

  5. This is the wooden bear at the gas station on the Post Road

  6. Pleas double check with Ms. Miller about the above photo. A family member who also follows your blog swears it’s a wooly mammoth with tusks. She says that it’s not a bear! Those are tusks on the front. We went by Exxon in Westport and she saw all the carved bears. That can’t be a bear she says.

  7. or a Walrus
