Oh My 06880 — Photo Challenge #28

Hmmmm….where did I see that guy before?

Andrea Berkley knew the answer to last week’s photo challenge: Custom Upholstery, on Riverside Avenue.

Okay, she admitted — her 9-year-old son Alex got it. He passes by every day on his way to school.

But most of us are on Riverside Avenue a lot too. We should take a page from Alex’s book, and really observe the Westport around us. (Click here to see last week’s photo challenge, and read all the other wild guesses.)

On to this week’s challenge. If you think you know where Lynn U. Miller took this shot, click “Comments.”

Here’s one hint: It’s outdoors.

The corner of Wilton Road and Kings Highway North?

  2. Very good, Bobbie!

  3. “criminal trespass”? Why so?

Mrs. Hunter this is the area of Fort Apache along the river. Part of is to preserve the habitat of the river thee other parts have beeb sold to build houses which are now buillt the developer is trying to sell one more parcel for a house that maybe where the sign is. Personally think it’s crazy to build us house on a super busy corner and flood zone the Land for Sale sign been up for years. Falls down or gets blown down by a storm new one gets put up. Guess they haven’t gotten the hint yet may not be a good idea 😉

  5. Agreed. I drove by it every day for years and then every visit to home including yesterday.

The house on that corner was an award winning architectural design for a small property. We use to call it the bird house.

  6. Even before it was called Fort Apache it was the site of the Bolton School.
