Famous Photographers: The Next Generation

Famous Photographers School — a world-famous correspondence course — is long gone from Westport.

But the next generation of famous photographers might be right here in town.

Westport Library teen services librarian Jaina Lewis has announced the winners of a summer-long Teen Photography Contest. If the ages were not included, you’d never know they were not professionals.

They get no prizes — just 15 minutes of fame on “06880.”

Or maybe years of fame later, far beyond this blog. Here are some Westport photographers to watch out for:

  1. Nice job by all of them. The tire and rowing photos offer are especially distinctive. And the Fenway pic looks like it could be a painting–it is a beautiful shot.
