Shannon Walsh’s “Soul To Take”

The list of Staples Players alumni who end up in Hollywood is long and legendary.

But not many make their film debut just 4 months after graduating from high school.

Shannon Walsh has a role in Wes Craven’s new killer-thriller, “My Soul to Keep.”  Last night, she attended the New York premiere at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square.

At Staples, Shannon had the lead (Ruth) in “Book of Days,” and ensemble parts in “Guys and Dolls” and “Rent.”

She’s now at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, studying for a BFA in acting at the Stella Adler Studio.

I guess her 1st semester is off to a good start.
