A Day At The Beach

There are 2 amazing things about this photo:

  • I took it with my iPhone, and
  • It was a spectacularly gorgeous Friday afternoon, yet South Beach was empty.  No one was reserving tables, pitching tents or even driving the wrong direction down the 1-way road.

Go figure.

    amazing photo!!! we had “drinks” and dinner at the beach Friday night anfd it was a top 10!

    I also like it because (1) I was a little guy writing letters to the Westport News to Save Cockenoe, and there it is — saved and (2) South Beach is where I almost died, diving into shallow water after a girlfriend and(3) I spread my father ashes in the waters beyond, on a stormy November day with waves too big for our boat. There’s a lot behind that photo of yours!
