Ever since the Big Bang, it seems, the small store next to Volvo of Westport has been “going out of business.”

First they offered 50% off.

Then 70%.

Now customers get an 80% discount.

I’m holding out for 100.

    The housing bubble burst. Now it is time for commercial real estate and their tenants to feel the pain. Credit card debtors will be next and
    then we will all be living under the Turnpike underpass handing out Chinese restaurant flyers for two bucks a day. The day of reckoning is coming. And who said there is nothing wrong with deficit spending? Cheney?
