There’s always a story behind an “06880” Photo Challenge.
Last week’s was especially apt. Andrew Bangser’s image showed a wooden box, illustrated with a dog with a book, a couple of people reading books, and a Dr. Seuss-ian quote about the importance of reading. (Click here to see.)
It’s the start of the “Story Walk,” along the Saugatuck River off Riverside Avenue.
A project of a nearby medical practice — Village Pediatrics — the stories are an often-changing treat for young patients.
And anyone else who wanders by.
Only 2 readers wandered by enough to recognize it: Bill Strittmatter and Clark Thiemann.
Take a stroll the next time you’re in the area. It’s fun!
Turning the page, we find today’s Photo Challenge. If you know where in Westport you’d see this, click “Comments” below.
