October is Cyber Security Awareness Month.
Timing is everything. Last week I suffered a major email hack — and a harrowing identity theft.
Which are 2 great reasons why this podcast with Sam Disraelly is so timely.
Not to mention, vitally important.
After careers in the military, and working with firefighters and 911 dispatchers, Sam found another way to help people.
He founded Your Tech — a 1-stop cybersecurity firm that is the gold standard in the field.
Sam is creative, passionate, and whip smart. He knows how to stalk and beat the bad guys. And he did it all without making me feel like I was the dumbest creature on the planet.
If you use the internet at all — and by reading this, you do — you need to learn as much as you can about cybersecurity.
This podcast is a fantastic way to start. Click here or below to begin.

He is the best. So glad you chose to interview him for your podcast.
Lynda, You are so sweet! Thank you so much for saying so! It’s been an honor to help you and your family and get to know Winston.
Sam is a wonderful person and smart this podcast is rely good thanks Dan for doing this
Very informative. Thank you!
Such an important podcast!!
Be extremely careful with unexpected event or Evite invitations lately! Many are tricking users into installing stealth remote-access tools, which hackers hide so they don’t show up in your standard installed programs list. Once inside, changing passwords and 2FA won’t stop them because they jump right into your active, logged-in desktop sessions during off-hours. I have seen scammers set up and transfer money directly from bank accounts into crypto accounts, steal airline miles, make unauthorized gift card purchases, and target Amazon accounts.
If you clicked a bad invite, check your running background processes or get a professional clean scan right away. And check your financial account statements regularly to make sure all activity is legitimate.
Thanks Dan and Sam for informing the community!!
P.S. Sam, on a side note—have you checked to make sure Dan’s computer is free from hidden connection programs?? 😉
Thanks, Jamie. And for those who need help: She too is a superb resource for cybersecurity, computer tech help, and all things related! jbkatz@gmail.com
