It’s become an “06880” tradition to greet readers on Christmas Day with a video of our friend and neighbor — Weston’s own José Feliciano — singing the world’s most favorite bilingual holiday song.

Merry Christmas to all. Feliz Navidad just came on the radio as I’m writing this.
Back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, my dad and his girlfriend befriended Jose and his wife at the church they both went to on Riverside drive. I’ll always be grateful to Jose and his wife for visiting my dad the day before he passed away in 2008. Jose had a great sense of humor and was cracking jokes and making my dad laugh. It was such a special time for my dad and for me too. A memory I will always cherish.
