Compo Beach Swimming Closed

Westport’s Parks & Recreation Department says: “Per the Aspectuck Health District, the water at Compo Beach is closed until retesting can be completed.”

All other activities remain open at Compo.

    So we basically haven’t had any serious rain in a month..What gives?

    I heard Fairfield is closed too.

    Suggest actually using the $$$$$ restroom instead of LI Sound.
    God put it there for a reason.

    There was no reference to Burying Hill and Old Mill beaches. If closed, I trust a sign was posted and, as to Old Mill, the sign needs to go at the beach. Amazingly, such a sign in front of the Old Mill Beach is often not provided.
