    That’s a depressing picture! The irony is Westport was a small farming community.

      Thank you for noticing, Jack. Depressing is what I intended. The Garden is a devastating loss to the people who invested years into making it the gem it was, many of us seniors.

    Sad the community garden will no longer be as it was for Westporters.

      Thank you, Jane. Yes, I do think Dad would be proud. I remember how much he cared about the environment and the quality of good soil…and how to make it good. I learned a lot from him that I brought with me into the Garden. Cheers!

    I think this is atrocious. It is part if the reason why I did not rejoin the Community Gardens as I believe that the Outgoing First Selectwoman can not make an honest decision. I attended a. Inner of meetings with her supporters a GOP political supporters of hers
