50+ years later – back then there were maybe a couple of hundred Ultimate players, now there are millions!
Rumor is legendary Lower Merion alum Kobe Bryant wahted to quit basketball and pursue his dream of being a professional Ultimate player but his parents said ‘no’.
LM Class of 1971 here! Kobe Bryant class of 1996. When I tell people around here where I went to HS I say “It’s a school just like Staples”
